gloINTENSIVE 2012

gloATL invites emerging artists to take part in this unique training and performance experience. With highly personal, visceral dance as the cornerstone, gloATL will guide the next generation of artists on a journey that values independent thinking and problem solving through fresh exploration and a tenacious, communal work ethic found in today’s contemporary world.

gloATL believes that each individual has a singularly unique voice, and that most of us are capable of more than we think we can achieve.

Daily schedule

The first half of the day begins with ballet class taught by one of our guest teachers (contemporary on Saturday). Following class  is  group investigation of  movement tools and relational aesthetics.  At least twice a week this part of the day is followed by public intervention, or what glo calls “mapping.”

Following lunch, the process will focus on choreographic  process in contemporary language, amidst Guest artist Residencies.
