African American Dance Review Auditions

The audition calls for both male and female dancers. Dancers Should be well versed in at least 2 of the following: Jazz, lyrical, Hip Hop, African, Tap and/or partner. Dancers must be at least 18 years of age. Be sure to bring a current head shot and resume upon arrival. Call backs will be held the following day, Sunday April 26, 2009.

David Dane Dance Company is holding auditions to the public on April 18, 2009 at 3:00-5:00pm.

Call backs will be held on April 27 at 8:00pm.

2009 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleadear Auditions

The Atlanta Falcons are holding cheerleader auditions for their new season. They are looking for outstanding ladies with a dance and cheer background and an overall positive attidue.

PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS

WHEN: Sunday April 19, 2009 (8-10 a.m. registration, auditions will begin promptly at 10 a.m.)
WHERE: World Congress Center (Thomas B. Murphy Ballroom)
ATTIRE:A two-piece leotard (bra top and dance trunks), skin-tone/matte tights, socksand white tennis shoes. No dance pants, please!
BRING:A recent non-returnable photo (snapshot accepted), a valid photo ID, a light lunch/drink, a non-refundable $25.00 (cash or money order) application fee, your application (see below) and a resume (optional)

There will be at least two cuts on Sunday for Preliminaries.Lunch will not be provided and no concessions will be open. Bring any food or drinks you may need.Please plan on staying all day as finalists will be announced following the second cut! Should you become a finalist, there will be a mandatory 15-minute interview on Monday, April 20 or Tuesday, April 21. This will be arranged at the preliminary audition.You will also learn the final cut on Wednesday evening April 22, 2009 at7 p.m.

THEATER OF THE STARS ANNOUNCES ADULT AUDITIONS FOR 42nd STREET

Theater of the Stars will hold adult auditions for 42nd STREET on Saturday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. Call backs will take place in the afternoon. Audition Location: Alliance Theatre, 1280 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30309.

Come to Rehearsal Hall One on the 3rd Floor.

These auditions are available for both Equity and non-Equity Actors.

We are looking for male and female actors who dance and sing well. Chorus actors must be able to tap dance. Please bring two copies of your headshot and resume. Bring your own sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of music from a musical theater song that best shows off your voice. Musical accompaniment will be provided. No a cappella, pop or rock selections please.

This classic musical tells the story of Broadway hopeful Peggy Sawyer who comes to New York in search of fame and fortune and catches the eye of a powerful director. As can only happen in a Broadway musical, Peggy is discovered, hired, fired and eventually becomes the star of the show. In between the plots twists, there are thrilling dance numbers. The show features some of the most famous songs ever heard on a Broadway stage including “We’re In The Money,” “You’re Getting To Be A Habit With Me,”
“I Only Have Eyes For You,” “Lullaby of Broadway” and “42nd Street.”

42nd STREET will be presented at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from Tuesday, July 28 through Sunday, August 2.

Auditions for Actors’ Equity members are by appointment only, all others should show up at 10:00 am.
