ATLANTA OPERA NEEDS MALE DANCERS

The Atlanta Opera is casting 3 trained, male dancers/actors for the spring production of The Golden Ticket, a comic opera based on the acclaimed book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The production period will run from Feb 9th-March 11th, 2012. 

Round 2 of Auditions will be held on January 18, 2012. All interested dancers, please email a resume and a head-shot to lturner@atlantaopera.org by January 13, 2012. Details to follow.

REQUIREMENTS:
Height of 5’8” – 6’
Modern dance & musical theatre background preferred 
Willingness to act silly & funny
You must be available to rehearse evenings and weekends

DANCE AUDITIONS JAN. 4 2012

Calling all men and women! Dance auditions are being held Wednesday, January 4 at 6:00-9:00pm. Doors will open at 5:30pm. This is a paid position for a 10 month tour. GEORGIA FALCONS CHEERLEADERS 2012 TRYOUTS

Georgia Falcons Cheerleader try-outs are being held Saturday, January 7 at 2:00 pm at Play Action Sports (3362 Covington Dr, Decatur, GA 30032). All interested ladies who meet the following requirements are welcome to participate in the try-outs for the Georgia Falcons Cheerleaders 2012 Squad:

-18 & up
-Dance and/or cheer background
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Positive Attitude and Winning Smile

All choreography will be taught the day of try-outs and there is no need to prepare a routine.

Preferred Attire:
-Black tights
-Boy shorts/briefs
-Dance/athletic shoes
-T-shirt/dance top

DANCE AUDITIONS DEC. 17-18

ATTENTION DANCERS: Audition for a paid job Saturday December 17th and Sunday December 18th! Doors will open at 2:30pm and the audition is from 3:00pm-6:00pm at The Artist Development Center 1345 Boyd Ave Ste A, Atlanta 30318. The job is being held February 3rd with rehearsals starting in January!

PROJECT 6 MOVEMENTS DANCE COMPANY AUDITIONS

RFA Productions presents- Project 6 Movements Dance Company auditions for the 2012 Season for males and females. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, under the artistic direction of Mr. Brent Smith, Project 6 Movements- offers a complete technical Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop funk small ensemble of adult dancers ages 17 and up.

Project 6 movements gives each dancer the tools not only to be a technician but also to truly believe in and love the art of dance. Project 6 movements follows a strict but flexible schedule of instruction that establishes a strong foundation for a future in performing arts. Styles are given to each company dancers and various disciplines, including Contemporary from amazing guest choreographers/teachers in and out of rehearsals, ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. 

Project 6 Movements not only strives to present the finest level of performing arts instruction but also provides a healthy and positive atmosphere in which all dancers can develop stronger dance technique, confidence, musicality, creativity, and artistry. 

Audition fee: $5

Dancers: Bring tights/Leotards, All dance shoes and fierce energy.

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before time to register and stretch.
