OPEN CALL DANCE AUDITIONS FOR PAID NYE GIG IN ATLANTA

In search of dancers to perform at a New Years Eve event for a one of a kind interactive audience experience. Looking for B-Boys, Krumpers, Lockers, Hip-Hop and Contemporary Dancers. Contemporary Dancers must be versatile in Hip-Hop.

Minimum age to participate is 18 yrs old.

Auditions Round 1: Each dancer will be given 60 seconds to perform a solo piece in their own style. There will be cuts made after this round. Please provide us with your music upon registration via iPod, iPhone or Android device.

Auditions Round 2: Dancers will be given some hip-hop choreography to perform in groups. Dancers will be cut again and those asked to continue will return the following day for call backs. We be looking for dancers that stand out in the crowd and show their personality.

Call Backs on Sept 27:

Location: Gotta Dance Atlanta – 1778 Ellsworth Industrial Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 *Auditions will be held in Studio 1

Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm

Remaining dancers will be asked to create groups of three or four for the call back auditions. Each group will be given a song where they must choreograph a routine on their own. They will be asked to compete against another group in a battle for domination of the floor. We'll be looking for the dancers to showcase unity, creativity, presentation and personality.

We are looking for 6-8 dancers to be cast in the performance. All dancers will be paid for the performance.

Time: Registration/Check-in: 12:30pm – 1:00pm (All dancers MUST arrive at studio no later than 12:30pm. No exceptions will be made.)

GOTTA DANCE ATLANTA SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS

Get ready Atlanta for Gotta Dance Atlanta's Scholarship Auditions being held Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 5:00pm. This is a sixth month program for the serious dancers. 2015 ATLANTA DREAM CHEER TEAM AUDITIONS

The Atlanta Dream Shooting Stars are looking for a diverse group of male and female cheerleaders and dancers to perform at all Atlanta Dream home games throughout the season. Please see below for information on our upcoming auditions.

PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS

Valid State-Issued ID

Wear comfortable dance/cheer attire (Fitted t-shirt/tank top and shorts/pants for males; tank top, sports bra, dance trunks, tights and tennis/jazz shoes for females)

Current 4x6 photo (non-returnable)
Please bring a light lunch, water bottles, snacks and towel 
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A diverse group of female and male cheerleaders and/or dancers, ages 18 and up
GED or high school diploma
Previous dance or cheerleading experience
Tumbling skills are a bonus
Must be able to commit to the practices, Atlanta Dream home games, playoffs, community appearances and other scheduled events

GEORGIA GWIZZLIES DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS

American Basketball Assocation's Georgia Gwizzlies are holding tryouts for their new dance team. We are looking for a diverse group of women with a variety of dance and performance backgrounds and a positive attitude. Dancers will be required to attend weekly rehearsals, all Gwizzlies home games (which take place in Atlanta), and attend all team appearances. Dancers should come to the auditions in dance attire. Please bring a resume and headshot as well as the $25 tryout fee. Be prepared to stretch and warm-up, learn a short combo and then perform in small groups. Solo's are optional but encouraged!

SIDEWAYS CONTEMPORARY DANCE COMPANY AUDITIONS

SIDEWAYS contemporary dance company is seeking trained dancers for their 2014-2015 season.  Season will begin September 2014 and will run through June 2015, with major repertory concerts held in December & June.  Dancers are paid for major concerts.

Join us for our next audition on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1 p.m.

Auditions will be held at Atlanta Dance Central: 920 Woodstock Rd Ste 200, Roswell, GA, 30075

The audition will consist of:

• Ballet Barre
• Contemporary Repertory from SIDEWAYS
• Improvisation
• Interview
• Solo Performance – Dancers should prepare a one-minute solo showcasing their strengths.  (It does not need to be contemporary, modern, or ballet.)

 Dancers should bring a current headshot and resume to the audition.
